How to get the most out of this class

Not a list of rules. These are the things that actually make the difference between students who improve fast and students who stay stuck. Read once, then just do them.

Attendance

Sign the logbook

Write your name at the start of every lesson. This is how attendance is recorded.

Camera on

Camera must be on for the full lesson. If there is a technical issue, tell the teacher immediately.

Request leave in advance

Cannot attend or will be late? Submit a request through your dashboard before the lesson. Unexplained absences count as no-shows.

Preparation

Do pre-lesson work

Complete any vocabulary, reading, or tasks before joining. Not during the session.

Complete pre-lesson tests

A short test unlocks before each session. Do it first so class time goes deeper.

Set up your environment

Quiet room, stable internet, working microphone and camera. Be ready when the lesson starts.

Communication in class

Always say why

When you answer, explain your reasoning. "Because…" matters as much as the answer itself. One-word answers teach you nothing.

Participate actively

Asking and answering questions is how you learn here. If you do not understand, say so.

Use English

Use English as much as possible. Make mistakes. That is the point. Mistakes that get corrected are how you improve.

No-show policy

What counts as a no-show

Any absence without a prior leave request submitted through your dashboard.

Consequences

No-shows accumulate on your record. Repeated unexplained absences may result in disenrollment.

How to avoid it

Submit a leave or late request from your hub. It takes less than a minute.

All enrolled students confirm they have read and understood this before accessing the student hub.
